We received a lot of great comments about our original Candy Cane Lane, including the suggestion of creating a larger version. The result is our Candy Cane Lane Expanded version with more room for buildings and accessories. The dimension is 38” wide (compared to the original version at 32” wide) by 45 ½” deep (compared to the original version at 19 1/2” wide). The display comes in 2 pieces for easy storage.

This display platform holds 11 buildings (depending upon the size of the buildings). The cobblestone area where the front four buildings will sit are each 8” x 8”, and the two behind them are 7” x 8”. For the larger buildings, the rear cobblestone area ranges from 11” x 8” to 11 ½” by 8”

In the center of the display is an open area where you can create a “town square” with a frozen pond in the back. There is plenty of room for trees and lighted accessories to make the town square a really interesting focal point.

Features of this display include:

We strongly suggest purchasing our display stands or creating you own. The stands raises the display four inches off your table or counter, so the power cords and wires can be located under the display. Without the display stands (or something similar) the battery packs and cords would be coming out the sides. Many of the cords for the aces sori es with battery packs are short (around 12") and can not reach to the back of the display. We also offer skirting in a season pattern to go around the platform to hide the display stands, battery packs and wires.

Please Note: Our displays are shown with Dept 56 and Lemax building and accessories. However buildings and accessories are just for presentation purposes only. No Dept 56 or Lemax items are include with the platforms unless otherwise noted.

If you like the display, but would like something changed, please let us know. We can customize any of our displays.

Christmas Village Display Platform

Front view of the Christmas display platform. There is space for three buildings on either side, and up to five buildings across the back (depending on size). In the center is plenty of room for a park, plus a frozen pond perfect for ice skirting. Most buildings are on a different elevation that the one next to it.

Display Platform Christmas Village Center Side

Back center view of the display. The hand-carved stone walls adds a wonderful element to this Christmas platform, as does the cobblestone pathways (also hand-carved). We used the porcelains white fencing by Dept 56 along the edges of the wall, and it added a great detail to the platform. On the left side of the photo shows the frozen pond with the trees around the edges.

View of the right side of the display. There are steps located through the display, which is used to transition from one elevation to another.

Village Christmas Display

View of the back half of the display. As you can see the cobblestone pathway is in the shape of a horseshoe, starting on one side, curving around, and ending up on the other side.

Platform Village Display

Back left view of the display. On the far left side you can see a couple of buildings that are a part of the Christmas Square display platform.

Same location as the photo above, but at a different angle. There is a cobblestone pathway that comes from the side, and connects to the main horseshoe shaped pathway. This side cobblestone pathway has locations for lamp posts. Here we used the short stack stone lamp post from Dept 56.
