The pathways, staircases, walls, and area around the building are all hand-carved, and painted. The walls have a slightly aged look, which is perfect for Christmas. There is snow on parts of the stairs, walls, and pathways. We sprinkled some of the snow on top of the cobblestone to give it a wonderful winter look.
This display platform is designed to hold up to five building plus accessories. Any of the cobblestone areas can be covered over with the extra snow (included with the display), so you can customize the look and feel of the display. It is a great way to achieve you own perfect balance between building and accessories.
In the center is a frozen pond, which is hand made. It is tinted to resemble ice, some parts blue, other parts white (the picture shown on this page have an all white pond), and has piles of snow around the edge. Behind the pond is the brick/stone wall.
Features of this display include:
Please Note: Our displays are shown with Dept. 56 and Lemax building and accessories. However buildings and accessories are just for presentation purposes only. No Dept. 56 or Lemax items are include with the platforms unless otherwise noted.

Front view. We used small trees in front of the stone/brick wall to add contrast.
Closer look at the stone/brick wall, with staircases on either side.
Left side. Extra snow is included with the platform so you can customize how much snow you'd like on the platform.
Left side again. This pictures shows the steps leading up to area for the first building.
