Cauldron’s Court is one of our most popular displays and is designed as a town square with room for five buildings. A cobblestone pathway leads you up past each of the buildings on one side, then down to the other side. In the center of the display with the stone wall as the backdrop, there is a small cemetery. Using the concept from our “Open Grave Cemetery” display, there are five graves, each of which can assume one of 4 positions:

1: The grave is open. The walls and bottom of the graves are painted with a brown earth tone. You can pile a bit of the dark brown ground cover next to the grave to make it look as though it has just been dug up. Or you can put a small amount of the other ground cover into the bottom of the grave to make it look like it has been dug up for a while.

2: Someone has just been buried. Using the insert that has been painted with the brown earth tone, place the insert into the grave, and cover it over with some of the darker brown ground cover. Make a little mound on top. This makes it look like someone has just been buried (like you see in the movies). Of course no one stays buried forever in this cemetery.

3: Make the grave disappear. Using the insert that has been painted with the green earth tone, place the insert into the grave, and cover it over with some of the mixed ground cover. This will make the grave disappear so that you can use this space for other accessories.

4. Place one of the poseable skeleton into the grave, and make it look like the skeleton is crawling out. Fill most of the grave with the ground cover to make it look incredible.

You can use the graveyard for a courtyard instead. Simply place the grave insert into each grave, cover over with the extra grace, and the graves disappeats. Now the area con be resued for something else.

Features of this Halloween display platform include:

  • The pathways, staircases, walls, and area around the building are all hand-carved.
  • The pathways curve around and between the rides, with 3 staircases along the front used as the entrances/exits. There are also multiple staircases connecting the paths to the rides.
  • The rear stone wall provides higher elevation for the 5 rides in the back and adds another level of dimension to the display.
  • Along the front of the display, a straight stone wall with a straight pathway in front. This is a common feature to all of our display platforms. Between the front pathway and front wall, there are places for up to eight lampposts (if you don’t want that many or any along the front, the places for the lampposts can be covered over with the ground cover so they disappear). We have a great way of displaying the lamppost so they are very easy to put up and all the wires are hidden from view
  • Along the rear stone wall, places for up to four additional lampposts (again, if you don’t want that many lampposts, or any lampposts at all, the places for the lampposts can be covered over with the ground cover so they disappear).

As with all of our Halloween displays:

  • The ground cover is green with seasonal fall colors blended in (reds, orange, yellow, brown, and tan). An extra amount of the ground cover and each accent color is included with the display so you can customize the amount of fall colors that you want on the ground.
  • One of the best features: The electrical wires for the buildings and accessories run under the display, and out of view.

Please Note: Our displays are shown with Dept 56 and Lemax building and accessories. However buildings and accessories are just for presentation purposes only. No Dept 56 or Lemax items are include with the platforms unless otherwise noted.

The theater which is in the center.

Left side. We replaced the theater with another buildings (some of the light from the theater burned out).

Small cemetery in the front. The graves can be covered over so the space can also be used for other purposes, like a park.
