The pathways, staircases, walls, and area around the building are all hand-carved, and painted. The walls have a slightly aged look, which is perfect for Christmas. There is snow on parts of the stairs cases, walls, and pathways.

This display platform is designed to hold a large building or house. Any of the cobblestone areas can be covered over with the extra snow (included with the display), so you can customize the look and feel of the display. It is a great way to achieve you own perfect balance between building and accessories.

Features of this display include:

  • Along the front of the property, a retaining wall divided in the middle by a staircase. On top of the wall is a perfect location for a fence (fence no included, just a suggestion).
  • A center pathway carved in a cobblestone pattern.
  • On either side of the center pathway, two perfect locations for your accessories. If your accessories have battery packs or plugs, the system we are using allows the wires to run under the platform, and the battery packs located behind the platform, totally out of view. This keeps the magical appearance of the display intact. If you accessories doesn’t have battery packs, theses areas work just as well for that type of accessories.
  • A second retaining wall starts from one side, curves around the front of the building, then out to the other side.
  • The area for the building is carved in a cobblestone pattern (to match the center pathway). To customize this area for your building, use some of the extra ground cover to cover up the excess cobblestone, leaving a cobblestone outline around the building.
  • Behind the stone wall, on the side yard of the building, additional space for your accessories.  If your accessories have battery packs or plugs, the system we are using allows the wires to run under the platform, and the battery packs located behind the platform, totally out of view. This keeps the magical appearance of the display intact. If you accessories doesn’t have battery packs or plugs, theses areas work just we well for that type of accessories.
  • Between the front wall and the pathway/sidewalk, there are places for 2 lampposts. With our system, the lampposts stay nice and secures.
  • The ground cover is a high quality white ground cover
  • Extra snow is included with the display, as is full instructions.

Please Note: Our displays are shown with Dept. 56 and Lemax building and accessories. However buildings and accessories are just for presentation purposes only. No Dept. 56 or Lemax items are include with the platforms unless otherwise noted.
